Brief Itinerary: 

1. Hotel Pickup in Ho Chi Minh City: Comfortable air-conditioned van pickup from your District 1 hotel (or central HCMC location) as we drive you 60km (approx. 1.5 hours) northwest to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels. 
2. Arrival & Introduction: Upon arrival, watch a brief introductory “propaganda” video to the tunnels area.
3. Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels sight which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.)

• • Discover trapdoors, bamboo spikes, weapon & lethal booby traps.
  • Crawl authentic Viet Cong underground tunnel: Squeeze through authentic Viet Cong passages **optional**
  • Visit different underground bunkers: kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions

4. Cultural Insight: Rice Paper Workshop: See traditional rice paper making, a staple of Vietnamese cuisine.
5. Taste Wartime Survival Food: try boiled tapioca/ cassava root with peanut-sesame salt that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years.
